Principal

Monica Battle brings over a decade of leadership experience with Cincinnati Public Schools, serving the past five years as principal of the District’s Rising Stars locations. She has the joy of watching children grow and thrive in the nurturing, enriching environment created each day in preschool classrooms. 

Her career in education is driven by a passion for innovation and creating high-quality, student-centered experiences. She values growth, creativity and thoughtful reflection, personally and professionally, and always seeks ways to improve outcomes for children and families. At the heart of her work are strong relationships, meaningful partnerships and a deep sense of trust. 

Principal Battle holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, a master’s of education and teacher license from the University of Cincinnati, a master’s of science degree from Trinity University in education administration and a principal license.
